I did the whole 'therapy' thing when I was younger because of some stuff.
So I guess I'm just used to seeing things like that.

No, my therapist helped me with some stuff.
And I guess I picked up on it so I got pretty good at spotting them in other people too.

...can't say I disagree with that, at least want my advice? be less of a mess and try to get in touch with this asami chick. the worst that can happen is you don't get an answer and if you don't, then you find a way to make her listen

I'd need someone with a metal shop. To help me fab the parts.
But if I had them all...

I could build it in a few hours, I think.

you might be able to ask somebody over at the university to borrow their equipment just lie a little, say it's for your internship or something they might buy it

It couldn't hurt to try, I guess.
I'm going there next year for mechanical engineering.
I could probably claim it's some kind of independent project.

there you go. that sounds totally believable so why not? maybe I'm just interested in what you could build with the right tools

So am I, at this point.
I mean, I've always liked building machines.
I've been taking things apart since I was little.
In two lives, if...these weird hallucinomemory things are to be believed.

Maybe I've got a gift.

maybe. it'd be a shame to waste it if that's true, wouldn't it? if you were a builder in both this life and your old one, if we're believing we had old ones, bet you'll surpass all expectations asami's company would be stupid to say no to that btw
