(Turns out he was kind of a jerk, too, now that I really know what was going on...) But yeah, I was helping design some vaults and do the wiring in them and stuff. Little things. I never really understood exactly why me but it sounded like a pretty okay deal. It meant that my sister and my best friend would be protected and that was all I was really concerned about at the time. I think you're right though. Ciel would freak out. Tell him anyway. He's probably smarter than the rest of us when it comes to strategy...I think I might have been too obvious? Maybe it was my own fault. Hard to say. You'll keep him alive though won't you?

You could just talk to her, Luke. Not have anything to ask her, just talk like you would with me or Adam. I know it's weird since her responses aren't typical but it helps her too. The more you talk to her like a person, the more she can respond like a person. It's how people like her grow and develop.
And... think of it this way: her goal is to continue the experiment. You've ended your participation in the experiment so you're fine now. She has no reason to do anything to you other than keep your data alive and hosted in her servers. Which, for the record, she chose to do because it helps her learn how humans work even better than before. You don't have to trust her but knowing the guidelines she's working in means you can predict her.

I will be honest with you, it's pretty weird, man. I don't really talk to robots? I'm more of a people person, I'm not sure I can trust what's technically a machine. But if you really think it'll help...I'll see what I can do.

I don't understand that part. I'm also still a little iffy on if I want to have my data kept alive. I'm tired of being something people can experiment with and learn how humans work, Rhys. That was my life before Vault Tec. I didn't realize it at the time, but being separated from it…she has to prove it to me that this is just for her to learn and not use against us.
On the other hand, it was better for you to stay in the game as long as possible so you could help Ciel. I don't know about "happier" knowing everything outside's probably gone, but I'm working on it. Never mind, this is stupid.
