Yeah, sometimes he drives me insane and sometimes I want to shove him in a closet and leave him there for a while. ...but he's also brave and smart and someone I've decided to protect, and someone I hope to remember for a long time. He's someone who's reminded me of who I'm supposed to be and I'm grateful for that more than I'd ever tell him, and Adam, I know you're probably going to read this at some point so...there you go.
This isn't a letter about "I hope you know how lucky you are" or anything like that. This is a letter to say I hope you continue to take care of him but also let him keep growing. A lot's happened here for us. I'll just have to imagine what kind of person he'll be when I leave.
