...The chocobos-horse thing would be kinda jarring. Still unless they start attacking you like that one video game series... still slightly less dangerous than this. [She's sporting a bit of a strained smile there.
Gosh, she can't imagine owning a cat in this state. They probably look far more appetizing then mice.] Their cat? Miki's doing okay. It like he's acing like it's... normal for him? He still wants to lick me and expects me to brush him and everything, but at least he doesn't mind when I use his harness to direct him.
[Please don't ask her how she got the harness on him. It was a struggle you couldn't imagine.]
They peck if that's what you're asking. Trust me, I don't trust them any more than I trust the rest of what's happening around here. [But he gets it. Actually, he seems vaguely interested in what she's saying.]
His cat dropped him off earlier, long story. That's what I'm not understanding though. Dogs are supposed to be fairly smart, you know? You'd think they'd react to something like this but maybe...I don't know, it's stupid. An optical illusion of some kind? Maybe our perception's just way off.
Honestly, that makes them sound about as dangerous as geese. [There's a bit of a laugh in her voice, but it doesn't last long.] No. If this company and app brought them here, they shouldn't be trusted.
[But then if they get memories because of the app, should they trust those as well?]
Well our perception just got a hell of a lot lower. But I don't know. Dogs and cats are smart and so are people, but there are so many that act like this is so... normal. And it does feel really... real.
[She sighs and hangs her head, but keeps her grip on the straw.]
I don't know what to believe, but I don't think this is fake.
As someone who used to chase geese when I was a kid I think this might be even worse, considering how huge they really are. Couple of friends--[Well.] Friend and a friend of a friend brought one in the other day and he barely fit.
It's not possible that they somehow have influence over the whole city except the people who don't have the app, is it? If we're going with the idea that the app is what's really causing all of this, which I'm still not entirely sold on even if it's better than our other options. I think it's best for us to think this is as real as possible. It's the only way we're going to start getting answers.
