You're the first I've met who has a voodoo sword, but the whole "impacting memories and feeling emotions" thing isn't new. If you were doing something like that and with other people, maybe it means you were a soldier of some kind in your past life? Or whatever. Fighting monsters is...it's weird, but it's not the weirdest thing, I think. Some people might find that normal by now.

I don't know if the monsters thing was supposed to be normal, but it makes sense if I gave Annabeth a knife and I met Thalia inside a dragon's cave. We were monster-hunters, or something like that.
So, what. They're picking people in the city and basically being like, hey, you used to be a monster hunter! Yasu's whole "maybe they need an army or are preparing for a war" thing sounds a little less stupid now, I guess.

It's possible, but that's the first time I've heard that theory. What kind of a war would they even be preparing for? The city's always been pretty chill before all of this started. [Kashuu I hope you're ready to be a soldier, goodbye.]
Anyway I don't have proof we fought monsters. I just know that we did. Somehow. See, saying it out loud sounds really stupid anyway. [A pause.] How big of an army would they even need?

That's definitely pretty weird-sounding though, yeah. Also, I guess it'd depend on what kinda soldiers they get? I mean, if we're all running around flying into ceilings and fighting dragons or whatever, we'd probably make a good army with just a handful of us.
Somehow I got that impression from hearing about him. Let's keep it that way though, huh? The less people are actually in danger the easier it'll be to figure this stuff out.
[He's drumming his fingers on the bar top just to work out some excess energy, unsure where to go from there.] You'd think they'd at least train us for our new freaky powers and weapons or whatever instead of just letting us figure it out on our own. Seems pretty stupid when you think about the fact we could easily turn on them, too. Once we found them. I don't know much about being a soldier either way but we could do a lot of collateral damage when the time's right.
I mean. I'm still all for destroying the building but apparently that's a little too much.

Thalia and I burnt down a building once. It probably wouldn't be that hard to do it again. I don't know how they could take away the stuff they're implanting in us or mailing us or whatever, but I don't like the sound of that either.
