[Meanwhile, Luke's been keeping an eye on the kids and also jumping in to assist with the stage combat where needed. Dance isn't his forte but he knows how to move with props and he's agile enough it works out. He's leaning against a wall and watching this go down, eyes following the movements of both the main Mercutio and Yuri himself and it's only when Yuri's alone that he snickers to himself.]
I don't know if "exciting" is conductive to coordination. It might be hard even for you to keep up.
( Yuri tips his head back to look toward Luke, having caught the snickering to start with. He's frowning by reflex; there's a part of him that's always ready and bristling when he thinks someone's being dismissive of him in some capacity that might matter. )
I doubt that. ( he leaves the "asshole" implied. less because of any will he has toward Luke and more because this is exactly his offhand, prickly attitude. ) It's a "fight" between two actors. If you can't manage to coordinate two people on a contained stage, you've got other problems going on.
[Yuri is one of those people that always amuses him because he's fun to ruffle, so sorry about that. As it is, he hears the implication and it rolls right off of him as he listens to Yuri's explanation, waving a hand as if flapping off the notion.]

I might. I've been thinking about it anyway after watching you guys. After the play's over I'm done with stage combat for the time being but it doesn't hurt to know what works and what doesn't for next time. Interested in learning a little more?

so yes, he's a pessimist. aware of it, and not in a rush to change it. dave and anya and... sorey and... maybe karkat are slowly instigating that change, but minus sorey, they're all his age. and that's more comfortable, in ways, but just as uncertain.
