[He opens his mouth but immediately closes it again when Frankenstein adds that addendum. Considering he was just a suspect in a murder he had nothing to do with, he's reconsidering his options on the ship. He has to play nice if he hopes to get what he wants out of all of this. It's like playing up his role of host all over again.
