He's biting down on the inside of his cheek while Adam rants, knowing that it seems unfair but also feeling justified for doing what he's done. It hadn't been safe to tell Adam while they were still figuring things out, and truthfully he was still wrapping his head around everything himself. Alice isn't the only one assigning third party roles. There's always been another person whose job is to hunt down the souvlaki from the very beginning, but he wasn't assigned by Alice. Alice wasn't even supposed to know, and neither were any of us until a few of us learned last week.
