[ Adam sighs almost as soon as he begins reading the letter. There's something horrible about reading a letter that was meant to be read posthumously when Luke is standing right there next to him. He can assume there's something like this behind that painting for him and he hopes he never has to read that.

The irony of the content doesn't escape him and he can understand now why Luke specifically wants to burn it. He shuts his eyes for a long moment, then hands it back to him once he feels the fire going. Then he leans just slightly against him, not enough to put actual weight on him. It's mostly meant to comfort himself rather than Luke, but maybe it can do both. ]
